Meet the Delivering PE coaches

Background:

With 18 years of experience in secondary Physical Education, I have dedicated my career to supporting young people both in sport and through a range of pastoral roles. Throughout my time in education, I have worked with students across all age groups up to U18, helping them develop not only their physical abilities but also confidence, resilience, and teamwork skills that extend far beyond the sports field.

My coaching experience spans a wide range of sports, from gymnastics and swimming to rugby and football. I have led teams and individuals at various levels, consistently striving to create inclusive, challenging, and enjoyable environments where every pupil can thrive. A particular highlight of my career has been organising and leading overseas sports tours, providing students with unforgettable experiences that broaden their horizons and strengthen team spirit.

In 2023, I transitioned from secondary teaching to establish Delivering PE, driven by a passion to provide high-quality, progressive Physical Education that supports pupils throughout their entire school journey. Through this venture, I focus on building strong foundations in physical literacy, ensuring that children develop the skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm to remain active for life.

Alongside my work in schools, I coach football outside of the education setting, including leading teams on tour. Sport has always been a central part of my life, and I remain an active participant outside of work — a commitment that fuels my belief in the lifelong benefits of physical activity.

My career reflects a consistent mission: to inspire, develop, and support young people through the power of sport and Physical Education.

Qualifications:

BA (Hons) Secondary Physical Education with Sport Science

Designated safeguard lead trained (2days) & refresher

Mental Health first aid qualified

Emergency first aid in the workplace

Pediatric first aid

Buckinghamshire Swimming Association Level 2 including diving

RFU Rugby Refereeing Level 2

RFU Rugby coaching scrum factory qualified

FA Introduction to Football Level 1

FA Talent identification Level 1

LTA Tennis teachers award

British Gymnastics Trampolining Coaching Level 2

Basketball England member

Sports Leader UK tutor assessor qualified
